Hang your brass chandelier from the mounting mechanism if your chandelier is fitted with a hanging system that allows you to hang while you wire it. If not, you may need someone to keep it while you wire it. Connect your black wire from ceiling to hot wire from the chandelier. Connect the white cord from your ceiling to the remaining cord from the chandelier just as you have connected the two heat wires. Only connect ground wire from your ceiling to the bare wire from the chandelier. Close the hanging chandelier according to the manufacturer’s instructions, turn on the power and test your brass chandelier.
